Our history
Two places, one bottle.
Tequila Trading Partners was never meant to be a brand first. It started as a trade between people who liked each other's company — a Jalisco distilling family with generations of agave behind them, and a handful of Midwesterners who wanted tequila good enough to pour for friends without explaining it.
The agave
Jalisco, from the ground up
Every bottle starts with mature blue Weber agave from the Jalisco highlands, slow-cooked and distilled by a family-run distillery that has been doing it the same way for generations.
The handshake
Trading partners, literally
The name is the story. A group of friends from the Upper Midwest and a Mexican distilling family agreed to trade what each did best — craft and patience for one side, community and a market for the other.
The place
Minnesota and Wisconsin first
Rather than chase every state at once, we started where we live. Bottle shops, supper clubs, lake bars and taverns across MN and WI carried the first cases and still set the pace.
The bottle
Built for how we drink up here
The 750 ml blanco and añejo hold the bar. The 250 ml trail bottle came from customers asking for something that fits a hunting pack and an ice house without breaking.

What stays the same
100% agave. No shortcuts.
No additives, no sweeteners, no mixto. Blanco is bottled unaged; añejo rests in oak until it's ready. If a batch isn't right, it doesn't ship.
